All of the stainless steel weights are good quality. Be sure to use the weights with the stainless steel retainer and not standard plastic one. I mentioned this in some detail in another review. Guys, there is one trick I have learned as far as wearing the weights discretely under clothing. I wear a jockstrap with a pocket for a cup. I insert the weighted portion into the pocket of the jock strap. I keep the jockstrap pulled loosely an inch or so below my waist so there is still some downward tension being applied by the weights. The tension will be less than if the weights swung freely, but the benefit is that the weights are discreet and the device is harder to loose because it is in the pocket of the jockstrap. I have worked out in the gym without the weights coming off using this technique. I have also ordered some drop crotch/harem athletic pants to try and conceal the weights for a full swing option. If you wear anything else, there is definitely an abnormal looking bulge swinging in your pants. This would restrict you to wearing weights only at home.

I started with the Beginners Stainless Steel weight set thinking I wouldn't need the 16 oz. weight but I changed my mind. After using the 4 and 8 oz. weights I realized I could use more of a tug. 16 oz. is something to work up to but I am very happy with the results. You probably will want to wear this much weight at home unless you want a lot of heads to turn.

First off the quality is outstanding! Craftsmanship, finish, fit is 100%. It’s on the pricey side perhaps, but you get what you pay for and this doesn’t disappoint. Might be a little too much if you plan on being out in public and active just to be on the cautious side (sliding off)
