We've streamlined the way to find the right P-tainer and the right amount of weight for you, with our new Demo P-tainer and Tension Gauge Kit.
Not sure what size you are? Try our sizing methods below.
Three diameters × three lengths, centered on your sizing
One stiff gripper for each diameter in the kit
Bottle, string and gauge to dial in tension
Wear each one before buying the real thing
Threaded end works with weights and straps
Designed and manufactured in Texas
A P-tainer is sized in two directions:
Follow our How to Measure guide to find your size, or take the P-tainer Length Quiz. We'll handle the rest and get you the three diameters and three lengths closest to your measurement.
Every P-tainer in the kit has its size and length marked right on the knob, so you always know which one you're wearing and which direction to move next.
Foreskin retraining is about steady, comfortable tension over months, not about how much you can stand for ten minutes. The collapsible water bottle, string and tension gauge are there to help you find the amount that feels right to you.
Demo P-tainers are built to answer one question, which size is yours, and then hand off to the real thing.
Once you know your number, the Dishwasher Safe P-tainer is what you'll actually wear day to day: smooth matte finish, high temperature resistant, and 100% solid for maximum heft.
Once the demo pieces have done their job, here's where to take it next.
Everything is labelled. Find the one matching the size and length you ordered and start there — the other eight are your step up and step down in each direction.
Wash the P-tainer and gripper with warm water and hand or dish soap before the first wear.

Give each one a real wear — long enough to sit, walk around and forget about it. You're looking for the one that holds without pinching and stays put without you thinking about it.
The demo kit steps in 10mm increments. If the standard and the +10 both feel slightly off in opposite directions, the +5 between them is probably your size — our full range steps in 5mm.
The string has a pre-tied loop at each end. Loop one end around the knob end of the P-tainer and the other around the neck of the water bottle.
Fill the bottle part way and add water until the tension feels pleasant — around 8oz, roughly half a bottle, is a reasonable place to start. One ounce of water is almost exactly one ounce of weight, so the bottle doubles as a rough scale. A full 16oz bottle is right about a pound.
When you want the exact number, hang the bottle from the tension gauge. It reads to 500g / 20oz.
Tie your own loops: the string comes with loops already tied, but knots in this cord work loose over time. Tie each end yourself with an adjustable grip hitch, at the length that suits you. It grips under tension, slides when you want to change the length, and won't shake itself undone.
If you want to feel something genuinely interesting, swing your hips a bit with the weight attached.
Nothing should ever hurt, go numb, or change colour. If it does, take it off and give yourself a break. If something doesn't feel right or you can't get it to work, get in touch — we'd rather hear from you early.
The demo pieces have done their job. Here's what to move on to.
